I John Sweet, Co-Trustee of the William A. Kerr Foundation is pleased to promote a project that WAKF is supporting in the Hyde Park area, Apiary @ The Park. Fatimah describes Apiary @ The Park as much more than a coworking, coliving space. At its core, it is so much more than just a physical space. Fatimah sees it as a center for liberation, expression, connection and prioritization of Black and Brown lives. The WAKF has committed to this project and I encourage you to partner with me to support Fatimah’s resurgence efforts planned for the Hyde Park Neighborhood.

North St. Louis has suffered from decades of population decline due to disinvestment, redlining real estate practices, and discriminatory lending. Apiary @ The Park will lay the foundation for the community to thrive. This project is a considerable undertaking, and Fatimah has already begun the process. Currently, Apiary @ The Park is in its first of two phases of development. Supporting projects like the Apiary is what will make St. Louis a better place to live work and play.
